        Room smells like dog urine and they charged me $100 for melted candy on the sheet

        Made a reservation for a friend via third party website. Manager refused to let them into the room without a $100 deposit for incidentals. The only payment method was by email, a plain text PDF with my CC and driver's license. This would have been the easiest identity theft ever! Owner needs to enter the internet age or stop doing any business online.

        Very basic hotel. Serviceable. Could be cleaner. I reported on my first morning that my room was out of most items in the bathroom (soap, conditioner) and the hairdryer was broken. They replaced the soap and conditioner but did not fix or replace the hairdryer. Disappointing to have to go to work without being properly prepared for the day, and then to have a repeat the next morning. Sigh. This facility needs improvement.
