The Cumberland Farms on the Eastside of Troy is amazing. Super friendly staff. However, with the staffing crisis corporate has abused their solid staff members. Some quit and some are just showing up burnt out. These folks deserve more! They deal with the public that spend their money in that specific location for a reason basically bc of your amazing staff!without them theres always a Stewarts steps away. Pay the the ones that show up for not only you but, the customers MORE!

Hello, I work for an agency who runs group homes for developmentally and intellectually disabled adults. Cumberland farms is a daily stop for the 3 men I work with and myself/ family. Today we stopped at the Cumberland farms in Canterbury CT. One of the individuals I work with is a firefighter. He goes to weekly trainings, drills, and live burns. Every other Cumberland farms offers free coffee to first responders. So today at about 2:20- 230pm we stopped in and this individual asked if the store still offers free coffee to first responders/ fire fighters, the woman working behind the counter responded in an extremely rude manner. Only if you have your uniform. Since this individual was just on his way home from work from the United States Submarine Base in Groton CT with his day program he didn't have his uniform. This woman in front of other customers was extremely rude with how she said the above, but then looked at her co worker and rolled her eyes. My individual asked instantly "did I do something wrong, and does she think I am lying?" This rudeness upset this individual by rolling her eyes and the tone she used to where he was hours later still upset because of the fact she implied he wasn't a firefighter and was seeking free coffee. Another customer thank him for his service and bought him a coffee. This worker then just shook her head. Not only was this unprofessional and inappropriate but it discouraged a person with developmental disabilities for over 5 hours who spends money at your corporation daily along with his peers and staff. Also my family and myself spend about $200 a week between gas cigarettes and coffee I know myself and family will not be returning to Cumberland farms because of this incident nor will any of the members of the group home. This could have all been prevented by this woman not being rude by her tone of voice and rolling her eyes to her co-worker I find it extremely unprofessional immoral and unethical to assume someone with disabilities cannot be a firefighter or first responder. This worker I feel definitely needs re-education and customer service I will be posting this and asking friends and family to share. I feel an apology and my individual I work with should be treated as equal as anyone else who walks through those doors thank you for your time

Speaking as a person on a fixed income, I would like to call out Cumberland Farms for increasing the price for their coffee by 30.3% from $.99 to $1.29. That is way more than the cost of living. I was spending over $700.00 a year on just coffee at Cumberland Farms. But as goes the price of their gas not being cheaper that the competitors any more, so goes the increase in their coffee. Although I think maybe I should thank Cumberland Farms for saving me, with the increase, $939.12 a year. Thats not counting the$58.69 of State taxes. Thanks again from a former customer,
