Griffin Faculty Physicians - Internal Medicine

This has been the worst experience ever. I went in for a physical and with no consent at all, the doctor ordered test that would not be covered , I ended with a bill of almost $300 because of the negligence and verifying insurance at this particular office and In Ansonia .. for over two months, I was inconsistent communication with billing the gentleman by the name of Emmanuel provided horrible customer service. He constantly told me he would deliver the message to the main office, and I would receive a phone call. The only time I was able to speak to any representative at this location was on my own .. again, horrible experience make sure you discuss with your doctors any test they will be ordering

No communication, I never see my dr. just the students and I dont feel properly cared for or heard , its disheartening. Im not one to go to the dr often but every time Ive gone here theres been an issue. The medical assistants were always nice but thats about it.

I feel better after my appointment. The front desk staff are friendly, attentive, and accommodating with scheduling conflicts between the Oxford offices. Ive had several semi- emergencies lately. The doctors have all been thorough and compassionate. I feel safe with this office, and Id recommend others do the same especially given the limited insurance options many people face in finding reliable primary care.

I became a patient of Dr Marks a few months ago and have seen him twice. The staff has been professional, polite, and friendly each time. Dr Marks has a great bedside manner and is patient; allows you to ask questions and takes time to answer them. He is thorough. Yesterday, I called in the midst of a mini mental breakdown after a long day in the ER with my Dad who has serious medical conditions. Karen assisted me on the phone, was patient dealing with me through my crying, got immediate answers for me instead of calling me back later in the day. An appointment was made for next week (due to my schedule) and she told me to call to talk before then if I needed someone to talk to. I really appreciate her compassion and empathy. Dr Marks, Internal Medicine associated with Griffin Physicians is highly recommend.

My primary Dr is never there. Always see someone different. While the staff is polite my visits feel cold and impersonal. After not feeling heard at my recent visit I won't be returning
