Found this center to be extremely caring and professional. I was very impressed with everyone that I interacted with from security to nurses. The intake professional that we worked with was super and went the extra mile for us. Thank you Jefferson Center.

Just watching the love of my life fall through the cracks. Please don't say you take this seriously because after reading these reviews the reply lip service, seems disingenuous. I still watch this mental health crisis on the sidelines and feeling like your gaslighting

This place used to be really helpful if you needed someone to talk to. Sometimes thats really all someone needs, is someone to talk to in person. When I went today, I was met by this really rude guy that told me in this angry voice you know we don't offer therapy? You know we don't offer medicine? I should have trusted my instincts and left right there after being talked to like this. After this, I met with this lady that spent most of the time telling me the same thing that the guy I had met in the beginning had told me. I explained what was going on and she interrupted me and abruptly ended the time we had speaking. She said that she had to prepare for other people that would be coming in though there was nobody behind me. Maybe there were lots of other people already there before me, I'm not sure. She didn't give me any type of advice other than a list of services / places I could find a therapist. It's as if this place will only talk to you now a days if you admit that whatever your going through at the moment is causing you to think a lot about taking your life. I imagine a lot of people without insurance aren't trying to land themselves in a hospital / 72 hour hold that they can't afford. Anyways, I won't ever come back to this place again. It's a shame though, whatever changes they have made I don't believe are good for the people that come in. This was the first time I ever left this place feeling more alone and worse than when I came in.
