Kitchen Tune-Up

Annabelle was so knowledgeable and patient while we worked through this process. I didnt know what refacing was until she showed up (originally, we had been looking at painting our 50-year-old cabinets). She answered my very ignorant questions with kindness, listened to our needs and offered some brilliant design suggestions. Its why we chose Kitchen Tune-Up. We felt heard and included in the process. A special shout out to Allen and Dave who not only paid attention to detail but respected our home by keeping the job site clean. Thanks, everyone. This was a great experience. I highly recommend Kitchen Tune-Up to anyone wanting a refresh!

I enjoyed working with Kitchen Tune-Up from the minute I called their number. The culture of excellence in customer service, quality of work, and just pure pleasantry to work with was awesome. All of the employees that I got to work with cared tremendously about the task they were performing, and about my vision they were making come true. I would work with this company anytime, great people, and a great company:)

We love our new kitchen! We did the "tune-up" last June and 8 months later, our cabinets still look brand new. No dings or marks anywhere. Alan, who did a lot of the labor, was incredible. AJ is professional, knowledgable and easy to work with. The work was completed in just a few days, on schedule. We highly recommend Kitchen Tune-Up

Overall, I give Kitchen Tune Up Arvada a 5-star review because of how everything has finally turned out with our kitchen remodel project. Our project began over two years ago with another contractor from another Kitchen Tune Up location who went bankrupt and left us to fend for ourselves. At that point, AJ picked up our contract along with dozens of other contracts to try to clean up the mess. About two years later, the project is now finished and were very happy with the work Kitchen Tune Up Arvada completed. Admittedly, the process took many different steps and adjustments to our plan, which were frustrating at times. But, the excellent customer service of both AJ and Allen never wavered. If you are considering using Kitchen Tune Up Arvada for your kitchen remodel, request Allen as your installer. Once he was added to our project, everything turned around and were very grateful to him.

AJ has been nothing but difficult to deal with and has continually lied to us about deadlines, what the contract we signed with him includes, and has initiated a lien against our house despite him not being able to finish the work. He will claim he tried to contact us but we have not received a single email or phone call asking about the status of payment, we have never said we wouldn't pay and actually mailed the check to him prior to being served a lien notice. The deposit schedule he will claim is industry standard but it is not. Receiving the amount he demands upfront gives no incentive to finish the project, no contractor expects 90% before the works starts. There are plenty of kitchen cabinet companies who treat their clients with more respect and take responsibility for errors they commit. AJ also claims to be able to do everything for their customers, however the day his crew showed up there was a laundry list of items that we could either pay him extra for or take care of ourselves. After nearly 8 months (he told us during the sales process it would be 6-8 weeks) the project is still not done. The product itself is fine, but AJ is not someone who I would recommend doing business with. If you elect to use Kitchen Tune Up I would explore other providers including other Kitchen Tune Up franchisees.
