Ive been seeing Dr West for 10 years now and Ive always found him caring, smart, and helpful. This staff are great. Nicest team of phlebotomists also. Great location.

Dr. West saved my life. I had been suffering from misdiagnosed sciatica for 10 years. Countless Doctor appointments, physical therapy, massage therapy...all with no significant improvement. I was starting down the path of opioid dependence to just cope with the chronic pain. My PCP was on vacation when I needed a refill of my Percocet prescription and Dr. West was covering on the day I went in. We had a conversation about my situation, he conducted an examination and in his opinion it was not sciatica. He ordered an MRI, it was discovered that I had been suffering with herniated disk that was pushing into a nerve center causing all my grief. I was under the knife within two weeks, had a moderate recovery and now I am completely pain free. I am so grateful that my PCP was out of town and I had the pleasure to be seen by Dr. West. If only he were taking on new patients he would have me for life. Thank you again, Dr. West. Your truly saved me.

This has been an awful experience for me. I have never actually met Dr. West. I have only been seen by one of the PA's, Heidi Petersen. I met Heidi when I accompanied my sister (who is deaf and has CP) at her visit with Heidi. I thought she was nice and seemed patient with my sister and the ASL interpreting process. I switched over because I was looking for a new PCP and figured it would make my life easier to have it all in one place. That was my mistake. My sister has since moved out of state and I have had nothing but issues with this office. On two separate occasions they scheduled me an [only] 20-minute visit, despite my asking for significant time with Heidi to go over several different things. Subsequently, I was rushed out of the office both times. Another time, I waited for several weeks after a blood draw and heard nothing back. After making 3 calls, I finally heard back from someone... only to be informed that they LOST, yes you read that right, LOST my blood. It was nowhere to be found. Their office and the companies they use to pick up blood to send out for testing had NO trace of it. Where did it go? Who got test results from my blood and now doesn't have their actual true results? They actually wanted me to come back in for another blood draw! Are you kidding me? My DNA is out there somewhere, Lord only knows in whose hands, because you lost it and you want me to trust you with it again?!?! I think not! The other issue I have is that they want to see me every 4-6 months to renew a script that I have been taking (successfully) for 18 years! None of my previous physicians required that. An annual was sufficient unless they saw me in between. All they want is bodies in and out of this place so they can make $. They don't care about anything else. I'm looking for a new PCP again now. I might have to travel all the way to Louisville from Golden because that's where the Dr I really like is. This isn't easy when you work and have a family of 6.
