        I had 2 "hourglass" blockages in my coronary arteries and was previously told that I would need a coronary bypass since they had been replaced 2 times. Dr.Miklin inserted 2 more and saved me from the long recuperation time of bypass surgery ! He definitely is a world class physician and we are blessed to have him in Colorado.

        Dr. Miklin takes the time to analyze your heart condition and visit with you about what is going in your life. He may order tests to be done for you to better access the situation. He may suggest procedures that you can consider to help improve your condition. Frequently, he does run long on his scheduled appointments because of the time he spends with patients in need. Once, you understand his procedures, you may agree with me that Dr. Jerry Miklin is not only a world class cardiologist, but also, one of the finest doctors available today.

        I think Dr. Miklin is fantastic Cardiologist, he saved my life when I had a heart attack, and he also performed a procedure to suck out a bunch of blood clots that were in my heart! I have many years experience as a Dr. He saved my life, thank you so many Lutheran Medical Center! He has wonderful staff as well!

      Jerry S. Miklin, MD

      A Colorado native, Dr. Miklin received his medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed residency training in internal medicine and cardiology, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease, at the University of Utah. Returning to Colorado, Dr. Miklin joined SCL Health in 1983. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, and is chief of the cardiac service line at Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Miklin has been named a Top Doctor by Denver’s 5280 magazine more than once.An active runner and skier, Dr. Miklin stays in shape and enjoys world-famous Colorado skiing. Outside the hospital or clinic, you will often find him playing golf or fixing almost anything around the house. He is also a busy husband and father, keeping up with his wife and five children, including two sets of twins.
