Family Berners

Nothing less than the best! Family Berner is the place to go when searching to add a new member into your family. When we first got our took our little girl we took her to the vet for an examine, and came back fully clear of any parasites, blood issue, or any health concerns. Family Berner has done a fantastic job with socializing their puppies, the vet has complimented the patience, and easy going nature of our puppy around stranger, barking dogs, and even shots. Adopting is a scary and exciting process, but family Berner honestly made it 100 times easier, their family run business, and willingness to work with you through the long run to ensure that your puppy lives a long happy life. Can't recommend them enough!

They have lost young puppies twice in a few months, with the occurrence of 2 of their Bernise puppies found walking in the county road near their house. Two even younger puppies only a few weeks old from photo lost at end of March 2024. They removed that post so don't know if pups were found. Very irresponsible for owners or breeders. Sounds like they just sell puppies bred irresponsibly in Ohio from family members there.

We still left with a Berner. but... Website shows kennels and the parents. Lots of dogs. No kennels on site. Both parents were back in Ohio with the owners brother (?? Different last names though) Breeder says he is 4 months old but my vet is guessing 10 weeks based on teeth, weight and size. Photos show way different dogs then what were on site. Owner says he gets his dogs shipped from his brother in Ohio. Whereas his website says another. We still fell in love with the one we took home.

our puppy was amazing and we loved him so much, but he died of BONE CANCER before his 2nd birthday. he was a mini bernadoodle. there may be some genetic issues with some of the parents.
