The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort, Vail

Pricey, but definitely worth it. Not only are the rooms amazing, but it is minutes away from ski lifts and even has a complementary taxi service. Great hotel! Walkability: Incredibly easy to get to ski lifts and Vail Village - if you dont take the free bus or free taxi service, probably about a twenty minute walk to Vail Village.

We recently spent 2 nights at The Hythe as part of our honeymoon, everything was great from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The resort is very clean and organized, the staff is very friendly and always willing to help. There was 1-2 staff members that were a bit rude at times but the rest of the staff that we interacted with were very nice so that compensated that previously mentioned treatment. I would 100% recommend this resort for anyone planning on visiting Vail and I hope that we're able to go again pretty soon :)

This is a really beautiful hotel a few steps from the Lionshead gondola in Vail. Rooms are really nice. Comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms, and a cozy feeling. The water supplies free bottled water with other amenities. There are two hot tubs and a nice pool. Gym is fairly stocked. Their is a ski rental and ski shop in the hotel whcih allows you to easily rent your equipment in thr hotel and the hotel will bring your equipment to the bottom ofnthe gondola so that guests do not need to carry them on the three minute walk to the gondola. Staff is really nice. The hotel bar has live music most nights. Marshmallows and chocolate every day after the ski day comes to a close. Really happy and fun vibes all around! Highly recommend!

This is a highly overpriced experience for Vail. If you are going to spend over $1000 a night, don't stay here. The valet at checkout was way understaffed and they will not let you use a cart to get your own baggage. It took them over 1.5 hours to get my car and of course my bags were still in my room. I had to go back in and get a new key card to get my bags. When I showed just a bit of disappointment to the valet named "Chris", he bowed up his chest and got aggressive with me and said they only had 5 people working. Why is that my fault that you are understaffed at 11am (checkout time) on a Sunday after a big event. I talked to management and they didn't care either. For $1000 a night you would think the valet service would be more hospitable. It's too bad, because the hotel is very nice and clean. I just don't like spending a lot of money only for a valet guy wanting to fight me because he was busy and I wanted to use a cart to get my bags.
