I was pretty disappointed with some things at this location. I use the locker room to get dressed as time for the gym and work is limited. Needless to say, they were very filthy. On top of that, it was 8am and they had only been opened for an hour which means they probably hadnt been cleaned from the prior day yet there were staff hanging out at the front counter talking and visiting which. Im regretting swapping from Chuze so far. I hope this was a one time issue. Updated: 04/10/2024 The locker rooms are still filthy and now they smell like rotten fish and cheese. Clearly grown a** men do not know how to flush a toilet or urinal, or cleanup after themselves. Is there a plumbing issue? If not, why not install automatic flushing devices on the toilets and urinals? Money was just spent on painting and drywall repair but if the guts of the building do not function correctly, it's like putting lipstick on a pig. The showers are full of mold and the trashcans are overflowing in most cases. The front entrance to the building is disgusting. It's full of filth, grime, and gum stuck to the concrete. I don't know who it was at the front counter on 04/09 at around 11:15am, but she has shoulder length dark hair and was wearing a black knit hat, gray tee with long sleeve black shirt under it, and black leggings. Talk about the personality of a speed bump. I don't think it would be possible for her to seem more bothered to be at work. I get that not everyone is ultra friendly but maybe not put her behind the front desk in a customer service position. Additionally, I do not understand why I am paying for services that apparently anyone has access to. Why am I required to pay an upgraded membership to have access to the pool, steam room, and dry sauna when it's a free for all? Why isn't access restricted to those who pay extra for that level membership? It's already bad enough that Thornton does not have a ton to offer. Why not take care of what we have and make it the best possible? This part is for others who might be reading this: Please stop putting cleaning wipes over the thermostat so that the steam room runs nonstop. It's going to burn out the system and ruin it for everyone else! The mechanical components for steam rooms are not mean to function that way. Use the button on the outside wall if you want the steam increased. If it doesn't work, let someone know!
