Stronghouse Brew Pub

I moved away from Telluride five years ago and came back to visit and had never been to this bar so I was excited to check it out. I was very pleased with the staff and entire atmosphere. This would definitely be my spot if I still lived here. It was everything I love about telluride, and the food and beers were amazing! It was very busy as it was closing weekend, and the bartenders absolutely killed it.

What an amazing place! LOVE the bar tenders, Sky and Sam! Food, beer, atmosphere is off the charts! We will definitely be back.

Beer is top notch. Food was delicious, however the corned beef on the corned beef sandwich was a bit too chewy because it was cut too thick. If you're going to cut your corned beef that thick it better be "melt in your mouth" tender.

Weve been coming to Telluride regularly for 25 years. Initially we thought Stronghouse seemed like a great place - historic building, nice vibe, decent food. But tonight we were walking back to the gondola and noticed a shivering dog tied up in front (it was snowing and in the low 20s). So we went to the door to see if the dog owner could bring it inside. It turned out that it was the dog of the Stronghouse restaurant owner. We asked that she bring the dog inside since it was shivering. She refused and ended up cursing us out. She turned it into a thing about us being wealthy tourists when we just wanted her dog to be treated humanely. Needless to say, we will never give any future business to Stronghouse. Its a shame because we definitely want to support local Telluride businesses.
