Yeah - these guys are great. Great gear. Great staff. Fair Prices!! Spring Break and 4 of us got suited up pretty quick. 2 boarders 2 skiers. We had a few special requests and they were more than happy to help us. If we come back to Steamboat again we'd rent from here. Again Staff is awesome!! Thanks to the whole team.

This is obviously a burner account because small town but I have lived here since before Pony lift was installed... What is it with people with means nowadays that think they can buy into a retail environment with zero prior knowledge on how to run it, let alone have the passion for it. Shop has seemingly gone downhill overnight, or at least since I was last here a few weeks ago. All those folks mentioned in the good reviews down below? Gone. Their awesome manager and a few other staffers that kept me coming back because they were so nice and sincere have left the biulding and it clearly reflects in the lower level of service now from lack of staff that know what they are talking about, let alone care. Worst ski tune I've ever had, it was not right & the wax was not correct for the temps; for the price the charge I expected excellence. Their shop manager who smelled like ashtray admitted he doesn't ski, knows little about the tuning process for skis for those who want a precise hand bevel. Was told they are still 'learning' & he seemed despondent. There was no one else to help me. So back to Ski Haus I will go so they can fix my skis, or at least have a machine do it. So long One Stop, it was good while it lasted, wish JC didn't sell out, hate to see it go downhill so fast. Be *very* wary of taking your skis here for a tune or especially a mount. Can't speak for their rentals but that's probably the only thing keeping them open at this point thanks to high volume of tourists where even bad shops seem to stay in business; add this one to the mix. So sad. This is not a shop for diehard skiers anymore in ski town USA. They simply do not have staff to provide quality of service this town deserves. Shop or get your service done elsewhere this place is a shell it once was.
