We found Kande after seeing her previous impressive work with Habitat Construction. Initially we only thought we needed help with paint colors on the remodel of our almost 30-year-old log home in North Routt but with Kandes flexibility we were able to use her services on an as needed" basis. So, we ended up using her much more. Kande came to our home when we were in the middle of having the interior trim work done, and it was a mess with saws and scaffolding in the living room. She walked in and pointed to each wall and said this needs to be this color and that needs to be this other color. She has such an eye to see the finished product in the midst of chaos. In addition to the paint colors, she designed a new kitchen island, provided options for new kitchen backsplash, suggested options for lighting and designed the focal point of the house, a huge new fireplace. We couldnt be happier with the suggestions she made and everyone mentions how cohesive and welcoming the whole house looks now. It is definitely not your typical North Routt log home but that is exactly what we wanted and thank Kande for all of her outside-the-box ideas!

Having the highly recommended Kande turning my 400 sq. ft. bathroom into my sanctuary was a godsend. The inspired piece she worked from was my grandmother's 68 year old gilded mirror. With that inspiration, she replaced a shower with 2 doors and a tub sunk in yards of pick tile into one of the most enjoyable rooms in my house. Her eye for complimentary curvatures extend from the claw footed tub to the chandelier. She got so excited about the pull knobs on my custom vanity. Kande has such an eye for design and flow. I highly recommend her if you are looking for beauty and practicality.

Kande rocks. Seriously - My wife Pam and I connected with Kande to help us update a very 1980's mountain vacation home in Summit County and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Kande is excellent at understanding our tastes and desires and recommending solutions that fit within our budget. We have been especially impressed at her ability to "repurpose" things we already have by placing them in a new and different role (as opposed to throwing it away and buying something new). Kande helps us find the right products at the right price without pressure to buy from specific suppliers. To be honest, we probably spent more than we originally budgeted on improvements, but only because her recommendations made so much sense to improve the livability of our home - we had to do it! Importantly, Kande is very accessible and responsive - a rare quality especially in mountain communities. We highly recommend Kande and her company, Designed Interiors.
