We enjoyed our stay at the Silverton Inn. No traffic noise - the town is very quiet at night. The rooms were clean. Newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom. Good Internet. Full sized fridge was nice. Excellent location - close to everything. And quick responses to all my questions by the manager.

Great suite in a cool, historic building. Perfect location: on a quiet side street but a half block from all the pubs and restaurants on Green Street. Perfect place to stay during our ski trip. Kitchen was great for making our breakfast in the mornings. Chatted with both the owner and the on-site handyman, who were great. The city sprung a last minute snow plowing morning. The owner tracked us down himself so we could move our car across the street and avoid a ticket. He also gave us some advice on backcountry skiing locations. Walkability: Very short walk to the brewpubs and restaurants.

Room was spacious and clean. Decor was unique and interesting. Great location, one block from the action in town. Owner super helpful with advice on area activities. Would absolutely stay here again.

Awesome little place to stay. Mark was responsive and super friendly through the entire process. We were happily surprised to find the kitchen had all the essentials we needed to cook a big dinner after a big day out on the mountain. Parking was right outside the door to the room so un-packing and then re-packing was very easy. The room dcor fit perfectly in with the towns vibes but offered the modern amenities one might desire. It located right in town and is within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I were traveling through Colorado for a week and were headed to Silverton for the evening. I came across The Silverton Lodge by Google searching area hotels. We were very pleased with our stay! We only were able to stay one night, but it was worth every bit of our time there. We rented the Bear Mountain suite I believe it was called. Although it is an older established building, it had character, was quite comfortable with the king bed, and absolutely convenient with its amenities. It had a bedroom off the living room area and a full kitchen and bath/shower. There was access from the back door to a casual area to hang out in (possibly more for the summer months). From the moment we met Mark, the owner, it was a pleasant experience. I had called directly instead of booking online since we were only 10 minutes away. He took my name and saved the room until our arrival. As soon as we arrived, he was hard at work fixing the door area to our room since the snow has melted and left a small puddle of water. Not only that, our room didn't have a TV initially (it's not a part of the amenities), but he found one we could use with streaming. I joked I'm more of a city girl and prefer to have one, but it was okay if it didn't. However, he went above and beyond to accommodate me and we were so appreciative. Mark really helped us feel at home in his suite and during our stay. I can't say enough about our stay and the peace and quiet we felt staying there. We can't wait to go back and stay a little longer than just one night. This is not a hotel chain so please don't expect it to be. Instead, give it a chance to be what it is which is a comfortable, cozy, and laid back peaceful place to rest and enjoy the small town feel. I'm so glad it wasn't just another hotel stay. We felt right at home in this quaint and cozy town and can't wait to return with maybe less snow and more time to walk around and enjoy the area more. Safety: My husband and I felt safe while staying here. Our truck was parked right outside the door to our room. It was not only safe, but convenient. Walkability: Although there was snow in the area and around the town, but we were able to walk 5 blocks to the grocery store. We also passed shops and places to eat on the way to the store. Very convenient.
