Professional and friendly team from start to finish. The quality of the window is evident from the smooth operation and ease of install. The genius of the system is in the steel exoframe that slides right into the hole you cut in the foundation. No, the window is not cheap, but its the best and safest out there. If you need to get out, you're not spinning a crank while the flames are behind you--all you have to do is turn the handle and it opens right up like a door. Top notch. I bought the window by itself and did a totally DIY install, but my understanding is that they would be happy to install it for you. Installing an egress window is a big job, but if you have time and determination to see it through, you can provide a valuable safety feature that indisputably adds value to your home.

I always choose a quality product over a budget product. These windows are not advertised as "cheap" or "affordable". They are advertised as the best! These windows are manufactured to the highest quality standards. Who doesn't love German design and quality? We have 3 of them that were installed by the Brighter Basements team. They are energy efficient. They are solid. They feel great to open and close. Ours have dual functionality, where they can be opened like a door and also tilted forward to vent while still keeping the room secure. Highly recommended!
