I have worked with Knight Plumbing for years and spent over 10k with them on various projects. They aren't the cheapest, but I have always been happy with the quality of their work, and response time for someone to come out. To me, quality of work is of utmost importance. 3 years ago, I had Knight install a Bradford White water heater and paid almost 4k for the job. It replaced a 12 year old Kenmore that never had a single problem. But it was old, and I didn't want issues. I let Knight Plumbing talk me into a Bradford White because I trust them. That turned into big mistake. My 6 year warranty water heater quit heating after 3 years. Knight sent someone over to check it out. I even called Bradford beforehand to make sure it was still covered. They said yes. After a few hours, Knight made the diagnosis of a bad controller. They located a replacement but said I would have to pay for it, and the service to install it. But that Bradford White would reimburse them for the part and they would pay me back for that piece. Including installation, this repair was over $1,000, to fix a 3 year old water heater with parts being around 1/3 of that. 3+ months later, no reimbursement and I have called every couple weeks for an update, and just get excuses from Knight. I would never recommend Bradford White to anyone after this experience. Knight's tech also ran a pressure test on my gas meter, which has been leaking from where they installed their pressure tap ever since.
