        This was a great place to eat! All of the food was amazing. The kitchen staff, the bartender, the owner, and waiter were all phenomenal. Best smash burger Ive had outside of Oklahoma. Hushpuppies, truffle fries, and Mac n cheese were all awesome as well. Love the atmosphere as well. Highly recommend this establishment!!

        Everything here is phenomenal but the burger is insane don't believe me go try if it's not the best you have had in town then I don't know where is

        Stoked to have this place as a food spot in town. Great service, El the bartender was really friendly and easy going. Food was excellent, I there were a ton of tasty gluten free options. My new go to as a local. Dietary restrictions: Lots of gf options. Way more than a salad!

        Glad to have The Fritz open again after the brief break. Just a few observations on the food. The miso eggplant was below room temperature. The mushroom gravy and celery root was not as hearty as in the past, not warm enough, and a bit thin. The salmon was very well prepared and the masago foam was a nice presentation, yet the portion size for $20 was a bit underwhelming. The onion tart is a nice addition to the menu for the time of year. Cocktails were on point and service was attentive.

      Thank you for the review Nicole, I will pass these on to the kitchen as we do strive for perfection, I’m sorry for the items that did not meet the goals we have. The mushroom celery root is the same recipe as it was so I will check on that preparation. Regarding the salmon… in our defense, it is 4 oz, cut by hand and seasoned with dashi soy foam and masago. Seafood is not cheap or easy to find in Salida and prices are what they are. I wish it was different. I hope you will try the other dishes on the new menu to see what we are up to. Again, I do appreciate the constructive feedback and will take those comments to heart.Chef
