We took our child to see Dr. Hug after reading reviews and researching as much as possible and thought her/her practice would be a good fit for our child. We arrived to a semi-busy waiting room which quickly cleared out and then a very sick child arrived with one parent and multiple siblings running all over the waiting room. The office staff did nothing to help prevent possible spread by offering a mask, etc. We decided to wait in the hallway and informed staff where we would be. We waited a long time past our appointment time to be called to a room and then waited another 45 minutes for Dr. Hug to come into the room. The nurse and Dr. Hug apologized for the long wait. We asked Dr. Hug what was normal and why the staff didnt offer a mask or something to the sick child. Dr. Hug seemed to appreciate and show concern and offered an explanation that sick children are scheduled in the PM and well visits in the AM. We had an AM appointment. Dr. Hug proceeded with the examination of our child and we had no other issues. The office staff asked us to schedule the next well visit and we did so. We subsequently received a letter in the mail discontinuing care for our child. We are so confused by this letter. Perhaps questioning the Dr. about standard office practice to not spread disease is unwelcome. Overall, we were very unimpressed with the level of care, lack of professionalism of the office staff, and really didnt think Dr. Hug provided a thorough examination of our child, especially since we were establishing new care. Id suggest you look elsewhere if you have any expectation for a Dr. to provide exceptional care of your little one or if you expect to treated fairly after raising a concern of how the office is run. Dr. Hug had told us she would speak with the office staff about how they spoke to us and proper procedures for sick children in the waiting room. It appears that instead of choosing to be/do better, they just sent us a letter discontinuing care. We will choose to see the positive side of this interaction and will happily never return, I expect for the betterment of our childs care. Hopefully, this review will save you the trouble of dealing with the poor office environment and dysfunctional nature of this practice.

Dr.Hug and her entire office staff are always so pleasant, helpful, and answer any questions. They have been great with my daughter and as a first time mom they have been amazing easing any concerns or questions I have!

We recently changed to Dr. Hug from a family physician for more specialized pediatric care. Dr. Hug is compassionate, respectful and an overall fun physician for a child to have. She was definitely made to be a pediatrician. We are very happy with our care.
