Gentiva Hospice

We could never get a clear answer as to why this hospice was recommended to us. Was it from the hospital? Don't know.. We were treated right by the nurses and aides, but we were not told important things we should have been told before signing papers. When we no longer needed their service, that's when the administrative staff gave us NO help in getting our equipment back. When I called Jennifer to get an update on our status, she was very unprofessional in getting mad at me for not following up on our equipment. I was not told that I had to follow up with anything. Be aware that when you hire this hospice you may or may not be told all you need to know. Also be aware that when you leave this hospice, you will not be given help to get you back to where you were before they stepped in. Please rethink hiring this hospice. Nurses and aids are good, but Jennifer and Christina are looking out for their company, They do not want to hear your concerns.

Gentiva Hospice is a GREAT place to work! All of the staff is so supportive of one another, always willing to help each other out to provide the best care for our patients and their families

Had to leave a star for a review I absolutely would not recommend this agency when my father passed they left me hanging these have been the worst days of my life the social worker was supposed to guide me threw everything nothing!! chaplain called once and we were disconnected . The only good thing about the agency is the the nurses and cnas that came on a weekly basis they were amazing sweet and caring

(Simple mathematics on how I have to rate this organization) but If I could rate per person within this organization, then only could I be 100% accurate. 1. Negative *** Jennifer Sandoval, patient care manager should be fired. If she cannot perform her duties properly. When a family is having to beg for supplies and support. 2. Negative ***** Christina Lujan, MSW caseworker should be fired. If she can't tell the truth to a client's family. 3 * Felisita and Myra, hospice aides should be given adequate time. To be able to perform their jobs in a timely manner. 4. ** Daniel LPN when he does come around great. 5. ********** Stacy, RN is an amazing person has gone above and beyond. She has taken the role of all the above mentioned and done there JOB. If it was not for Stacy, I would pull my mom out of this service. But my mom thinks she is an Angel sent from heaven!
