Krista E. Wilks, DC

Dr. Wilks is the best. I take my whole family to her. She is thorough, patient, a good listener and above all else a great chiropractor. Due to continuous headaches I started seeing her, I would have to go once or twice a week, and now I only go once every 6-8 weeks.

I rarely write a review regarding a health practitioner. But I have been in the healing profession as a psychologist for 35 years and what I learned is that people have to come first and protocol has to come second. Krista Wilks is an incredible chiropractor I began to see her over 2 1/2 years ago at which time she was very personable and incredibly knowledgeable about the body. She helped me immeasurably. But in visiting back two years later I find that shes in a hurry she spends very little Time connecting with me as a patient she rushes me in and out in less than 10 minutes and that was not my experience of her initially. I brought my daughter to see her and drove from Santa Fe was 10 minutes late and was met curbside and told that there was not enough time for my appointment. Every practitioner has the right to keep a tight and packed schedule but what happens is patients become subservient, personal contact disappears and practices can become like driving into a filling station. Three other people in the Pueblo area have had the same experience of a kind of disconnect between Dr. and patient. For me after 35 years that is unacceptable and always will be. I will not be returning nor bringing my family members to see Dr. Krista Wilks.

Krista Wilks was great! I told her about my fear of Chiropractors and bone snap, crackle, pop. She didnt hurt me and I feel so much better. I would definitely recommend her, Ill be going back!
