Straight Line Construction

My first home ever purchased was hit by a moving truck a little over a year ago now. The moving truck went through my yard and straight into the side of the house where my bathroom is. The impact of the moving truck had rocked my house off the foundation by 5-7 inches. The impact alone created breaks in the foundation, floors, and walls. Working with my insurance has been such a drawn-out process with no guidance or support along the way. After months of doing all the work for my insurance company, finding engineers and contracts, they moved forward with working with Straightline to help repair the foundation after the accident. Through my time working with Bob and Kenny, I could tell they knew how tragic this accident was for me. They kept me well informed and communicated often, always looping me in on the progress of the repairs. Bob and Kenny were so understanding and patient with me as I worked with my insurance to ensure they received what they needed, in order to get the work done quickly. The work they did was incredible! I feel at ease knowing that the foundation of my house is safe for when I move back into my house. They even fought with my insurance to get the footings replaced, as my insurance wanted to put a band aid over it. Bob, Kenny, and their crew are amazing people who truly care about their clients and the work that needs to be done. Kenny and Oliver did an amazing job with the work we needed to our home. Everything was put back in excellent condition. They were very professional and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to work with them.

This team came to the rescue! They were professional, truly know their way around a foundation. They literally raised our home and reconstructed, putting us back on level footing post flooding. It was a mess but they got it done. Kudos to the entire team.

Our experience with Striaghtline Construction was good. Kenny was excellent from start to finish first. We had our work done June 2021. After having the work done, we definitely saw an improvement in our foundation. There was a few bumps in the road but all was cleared up in timely manner. Fast forward to March 2022 we noticed the foundation sinking again. We called Straightline Construction and explained what we were seeing. Kenny and Bob came out ASAP and determined we will give it till June to ensure it doesn't sink anymore before making any adjustments. Once June came around the adjustments were made and it looked great. Come April 2023 we started to notice the area of concern dropping again. Kenny and Bob came out shortly after and determined numbers were still reading the same. We didn't understand how that is possible because we see the area dropping. They planned to come back in June or July and raise the posts again, however we never heard back about scheduling a time. Once again our foundation went back up in June on its own. We have been documenting when it starts to sink and have found in December 2023 it starts to sink. By March 2024 it is now at a low point and looks to be getting lower. We have reached out by email expressing our concern and seeing if someone can come out to check the levels again. We have yet to get a response. At this point we are looking to just cover up the problem area because clearly it is still a problem and we are tired of looking at it knowing it wasn't fixed. This three year experience with Straightline Construction had been frustrating because we see something is happening to our foundation from December till June every year. Everytime we do get ahold of someone, we are told it is fine instead of seeing if something else is going on. We believe Straightline Construction can still be a good company to work with, but make sure they do the job right.
