    I have been at the Isabella for 3 months now and have had good experiences so far. Every time a work order has been submitted they resolve the issues quickly. I'm fairly high maintenance and want constant communication on things and the staff has been very patient and kind to me. Yemi, Hannah, and Ashley are so sweet and I really appreciate their attention and patience with some recent personal changes. They're really reducing a lot of stress for me. Beyond that, the property is clean and quiet and the location is slightly tucked away from the main part of DTC but still close enough to plenty of shopping and restaurants. The pool is small but nice and the gym is always cool and has plenty of equipment. I hope I'm able to stay here for a long time.

    I just changed my 5 star rating to 1 star. My partner and I were more than disappointed in our 1 year stay at the Isabella. In the beginning, we saw ourselves living there for more than 1 year, but after the constant lack of communication and maintenance issues, we had to get out of there. For the price of these homes, the maintenance issues are not worth it. It is rather difficult to get anyone on the phone. The community is not friendly whatsoever. I am sure there are a lot of other complexes in the DTC area that would be a much better choice. There is clearly a pattern while reading through the rest of these reviews.

    This is a lovely property in a great area. Property management (Holland Residential) used to be amazing. The new management that took over in December 2021 has fallen short on many community items. I doubt I will be renewing our lease when it comes up again, as this is no longer a "luxury" community (with matching prices). They have done a couple of resident appreciation events, but to be honest I would forgo those to focus on day to day operations supporting residents properly. I would be VERY wary of renting a unit in a community managed by Redwood Equities, Inc.

    If I could give zero stars I would.. of course our air conditioning went out the hottest days of the week. We immediately called maintenance and they came pretty quick. He couldnt fix it and their only solution was to wait until Tuesday it is Thursday and the hottest week of the summer. Currently 85 in my apartment and my dogs are hot I read one of the reviews above about how they lack communication I to have experienced this. I emailed the manager left a message and so did my partner still havent heard anything. They offered to bring a portable ac but then called and said they couldnt find it? Seems like things only get fixed when you write a review so here I am. Hopefully Ill have air before Tuesday. I am editing this to 5 stars simply because of the head guy in maintenance he is a gem. He was honestly just as concerned as I was not having air considering it was going to be 100 all weekend. Friday he was able to get the HVAC company come out before the weekend to come fix it. Even after the HVAC company messed up a little on their own he came out AGAIN to make it right so we could have air the weekend. I am so thankful for him. He also once came in and fixed my sink after like 4 other people tried to fix it and was done in like 30 mins. He's awesome!! I wish I knew his name.

    My wife and I have lived here for almost 2 years and the primary issue we continue to have revolved around maintenance and a lack of communication. We have been unable to use our balcony since May (it is now July) because it is infested with honeybees. We have tried to work with the leasing office to resolve the issue but turned down what they had to offer (an exterminator) because we were not comfortable killing 30k honeybees. We've now been waiting a month for a beekeeper to be hired and approved by the Property Management Company. I learned fairly quickly that if I do not follow up routinely, things will not move forward. It was like pulling teeth to get the front office to actually call and speak with the beekeeper they had US find, and I've asked the front office to 1) follow up with their team on the status of the issue, and 2) provide me with contact info for the Property Management Company to issue a complaint. I was never given that contact information despite being told it would be emailed to me. The bees swarm our balcony, 10 feet out into the air, and are now on the lower level. Anyone walking by is going to come in contact with bees, and it doesn't seem Sequoia is interested in getting the issue resolved in a timely manner, and it's frustrating to be worried that I won't receive updates about the issue unless I'm consistently going into the office or calling. As of today, the number provided online does not reach the front office. It doesn't even ring - just sends me to voicemail, and there have been 2 times that the office has been randomly closed with no notice during business hours. For the price point and the location, this is a luxury complex and the ability to handle this issue is not up to par. Aside from the maintenance issues, the homes are not bad. They're nice enough and spacious, and the amenities are good. Location is beautiful and the staff is nice when I have been able to get in touch with them.
