I can't say enough about how good Mountain View is! I burned up our garage door opener and got a new one but didn't want to take the chance of messing up the install. Mountain View installed our garage door about 12 years ago so I called them and they were able to schedule a same day installation! The young man, Dillion I believe, was OUTSTANDING!!!! He was able to get the install done in about an hour and took the time to show me all the features on the new one. Icing on the cake, he even programed the homelink thingy in my car and having watched him, I was able to program the thing in my wife's car! He was also able to keep us compliant with code by recommending a mounting plate for the garage door. I am so grateful for their expertise and professionalism words can't begin to express how great these guys are. I you need any garage door work done I HIGHLY recommend Mountain View Doors! I am certain you will not regret the decision.

Mountain View Doors: Lets talk customer service and value. One recent morning, I stepped out in 20+ degree morning to run errands and found the garage door would not budge. Pulling harder and harder, until (at my age) I began anticipating a vital organ or two suddenly flopping on the ground at my feet. Finally gaining access I switched on the light and glancing up, the evidence is immediate. A broken spring. A quick google of these doors from the 1950s informed the weight to be approximately 200 to 300 pounds. Whereas I normally make any basic repairs on my own, it becomes obvious there is nothing more to be accomplished on my own. A bit of information obtained online, the cost to replace the springs, though not substantial, was more than my budget might allow. Time to phone landlord. Our conversation was brief as I layout the estimate cost of a basic repair. His response it not consistent with most property owners. Knowing the age of the door and the foreseeable problems yet to come, he preferred I locate a company to replace the door. I began my queries looking for a company in the near vicinity. While several appeared in my search engine, none seemed to man their phones, but requested one leave a message for follow-up by the company. With a lifetime background in customer service, I though this at least amateurish, though haste being of essence, I did comply on a few. Once I had an actual human answer, the situation was spelled out while not relaying there was an emergent matter two days later where my vehicle would be required (medical appointment of necessity). While this company dispatched a technician, (at term I use lightly here) the representative could not come for about an hour. I called the next number on the list and spoke with Mountain View Doors. They offered immediate response, but having made an initial appointment, I arranged to call them back after the first responder made his pitch. Now, this first technician (do remember the statement above) informed me, without a standard door from inside the house to access the garage from the inside, he could not really accomplish anything. Also, his door supply would have to be replenished and it would be at least a week, if not two before he could do the work. That conversation came to an end after he intimated, I would need to get the door up and the vehicles out for the work to commence. After which I happily accepted his $3800.00 (plus incidentals) bid and offered an adieu. (I was waiting foe a punchline, but he was serious) Calling Mountain View Doors, I spoke the Aaron who dispatched Dylan and he arrived within an hour, opened the door, provided a firm price, (no estimates) and said he could install it the next morning. After reminding him the high the following day was not to exceed some 12 degrees and it was forecast snow, he said Im from Nebraska, thats a nice day to work outside. I made a quick call to the landlord, and he was pleased with the price and schedule and once I backed my vehicle outside, he closed the door for security. The next morning Dylan arrived new door atop the truck, and he went to work. Studiously he removed the door disassembled the old framework began installing the new door rails, door, motor, lighting, etc. Later in the morning another tech, Bram appeared who assisted Dylan in the completion of the job. The quality is outstanding, the people professional, pleasant and customer service oriented. If you garage door needs repairs or replacement, these are your people. And, as a potential customer, you should note, they saved my landlord over $1000.00. Thats not insignificant!
