We would have had a 5 star experience if it wasn't for the pine pollen! Lol Of course it isn't the campground's fault. But having family with allergies. We had to leave early, because it was unbearable. The allergy meds werent even working. Note to self. Don't go in June. Campground and lodge with bathrooms and showers were clean and tidy. Very friendly staff. They have a general store which helped since we forgot eggs! Lol The sites have huge fire rings. There's also horse rides through a different company within the campground.

This is like stepping back in time. As you travel down a mountain road and find this treasure of...well most anything you need generals store for camping and adventure! So neat and clean and refreshing! We did not stay at the camping sites but great place! Really friendly owner too!

The management is great. Very helpful and friendly. A lot of people in the park stay year round and also very friendly. My only complaint was the road getting in. 11 miles of hell. Many in the park complained of the damage the rvs had from the road. I know the campground does not control the road but is a risk you will take with your rv going to this great campground.
