        Disappointed with my experience here and I don't think I will be back. I had scheduled three days of daycare for my dog, but ended up canceling the last day after learning two things: 1) The staff may use slip style leashes. These are aversive and could potentially harm the dog. 2) Staff is not on site all day. I only learned this after asking about picking up early and was told no one would be on site at that time. This information should be available on the website, but it is not nor was I told this at my initial drop off. These two factors made me feel that my dog would not be in the best hands here.

      Hi Ben- I'm sorry this was your experience. I'd like to comment on your points. We only use slip-leashes to move dogs from their kennel to the outdoor runs for potties and play time. On walks, we have transitioned to front clip harnesses which are effective and humane. Several members of our staff are certified as Fear Free Pets Professionals, so our goal is to minimize fear, anxiety and stress.We do close for nap time midday. After a morning of walking and playing, dogs are kept in a secure kennel where they are able to enjoy some rest time before the afternoon activities. The manager and owners both live on site, so somebody is usually around even when the facility is closed.Again, I apologize if you weren't satisfied with your experience. I hope you received the pictures I texted that showed your pup having a good time.
