Not the right fit for us. Recommend that you speak to other firms before you sign even if it means losing the consult fee. Not all firms charge that fee, and not all firms pressure you to sign the same day. How they handled ending our relationship with their firm confirmed our decision to find another firm so we wrote it off as a lesson learned. Hopefully someone else will benefit from our mistake. Ultimately we chose another firm because we didnt feel heard and did not feel confident we would get what we needed despite the great expense. The attorney we met with was patronizing & boldly doled out parenting advice (hes not a parent) along with legal advice. He wasnt a good listener and was not respectful of our needs and wishes. Quite appalling when I compare it to the firm we ended up using where we were shown so much kindness, attentive listening, and care. Find a firm that will do this for you. Maybe itll be this firm, but they really missed the mark for us.
