I have to say Brian Byrd is about the best landlord you could ask for. He's fair, friendly without being creepy, enjoys a bit of humor and is really a nice person. The rental was clean and anything that needed to be done, he took care of right away. He's easy going and easy to get along with as well. I recommend Byrd Real Estate for buying or renting your home. You'll really enjoy the experience!

Brian please do not lie to the public like this i didn't loose anything or got evicted. There has been no eviction, we settled. You are unprofessional and are very unethical in your dealings with your tenants. Your reputation tarnishes itself by your actions.

Worst experience ever. We signed Brians buyer-realtor agreement several years ago, and he destroyed our opportunity to buy a home, resulting in a very expensive nearly 2 year delay for our family in buying a home in the Montrose surrounding counties. In one instance he got into a screaming match with the sellers agent - ultimately wrecking that buying opportunity for us. He would take several days to prepare the offers that we made on homes. I believe he did not want to submit our offers as he did not agree with our strategy of negotiating up from a starting point (on homes that had been on the market for many months). Eventually, after several failed attempts to buy, I told him he was ruining our opportunities to buy in a small community and we needed to go our separate ways. He then sent us a lawyers letter and legally prevented us from buying a house for some 18 months, as that was the small print in his agreement if we stopped using him. 18 months later we bought a home, representing ourselves. Buying without an agent went flawlessly - thanks to excellent support from our local attorney and from our mortgage company. Based on this horrendous experience with Brian, I will never ever use a real estate agent to help me buy a home again, and I strongly recommend not working with Brian.

Brian was extremely helpful and communicative with us through the whole process of selling our house. If there was anything we ever needed to know about, he would let us know. I 100% would recommend this company and speaking with Brian. If I ever need to sell a house again I would come back! Thank you for all your help Byrd & Company Real Estate.
