    My daughter has been seeing Howard for about 2 years now! All of sudden cant get test results nor will she refill prescriptions for her! Last time looked @ portal there was a message wishing her good luck on her issues and advising her to seek other doctor! This is second time a DOCTOR within Banner has more or less fired a client! WE ARE THE ONE WHO SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIRE OUR DOCTORS!!

    I really enjoyed meeting with Dr. Howard. Her manner is really calm and caring. She took plenty of time with the appointment and made sure that all my questions were answered. Her front desk staff was really helpful with billing and her nurse Kristen got me into my appointment prepared. Thanks for a good visit.

    I waited 50 minutes in the examination room for Dr. Howard. After 45 minutes, I stepped into the hall and told an employee how long I had been waiting. Five minutes later, Dr Howard came in and told me her former appt needed more time...50 minutes of my time. This is inexcusable and unprofessional. A staff member could have come in and asked if I wanted to reschedule after 20 minutes. Or, she could have paused her former appt. to spend 10 minutes to get an update and renew my script. She told me neurologists are very busy. Well, so am I. I was nearly late for my next appt. I also take care of my 92 year-old mother. Dr Howard could not help when I was diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome after a botched hand surgery by another MD. She could not even recommend an OT specializing in hand therapy. I found one on my own and gave her name to Howard's office. The hand OT was a lifesaver.

    I had Dr. Howard while she was still in practice here in Washington State. I can say my care in her care was the best! She listened to you and did her best to handle your issue. If she couldn't figure out how to best help you she would find someone for you that could. She explained everything, which I liked a lot. She was thorough, direct, caring & compassionate. I miss her terribly. The neurologist I have now im not happy with at all.

    I went to see Dr. Howard following an episode that might have been a seizure that resulted in a hospitalization. Dr. Howard came in and asked me about my migraines for several minutes until I corrected her. She also seemed unconcerned about my present balance issues and tremors. I will be seeking another neurologist, even if I have to pay out of pocket.

I like to approach each patient individually and create a personalized plan of action to best diagnose and hopefully treat their issues. After diagnosing, my main job is to educate and create a treatment plan with which the patient feels comfortable that includes both medication and non-medication routes.
