I usually don't leave reviews, but I must say the Capstone has exceeded my expectations. My family and I looked at many places, and still have not made a decision due to my father's health issues. Just taking a tour, I felt like my dad would be happy living here. We will be back soon to discuss the possibility of moving him to the Memory Care community.

From the moment I walked into Capstone I instantly knew what great hearts were there. Ive felt so comfortable and welcome by every staff member who has greeted me. They show lots of hard work and dedication everyday!! The management team is beyond amazing!

Amazing place for anyone to stay. Friendly, fun always something going on. I see respect for residents who live in Generations and need extra TLC. Awesome job Catherine not always easy in MC.

My Mom was the seventh resident to move into Capstone memory care about nine months ago. Its been a real privilege to experience how this new communitys culture has evolved. From the very beginning I have felt that I was a partner with the caregivers, the vibrant life team and Generations director in giving my mom the best care. I love that each member of the team has made the effort to develop a relationship with me and my mom.
The caregivers love and care for her unconditionally. The care team is always busy attending to the residents' physical and emotional needs. I have never witnessed a caregiver ignoring a resident's needs, whether it be incontinence care, eating support, emotional care, or a simple warm exchange. I consider these caregivers my partners and friends and I know as our journey continues to the final stage of this illness they will be there with us. I find great comfort in that knowledge. Shift change has become one of my favorite times of the day to witness, as the staff briefly connect to share updates on each resident. The love and care that emanate from each caregiver during this transition are truly heartwarming.
The activity team has played a crucial role in creating a vibrant and engaging environment for the residents. Whether it's a craft, a snack, a movie, or the community-favorite karaoke, these activities contribute to the overall well-being of the residents.
Catherine the director is my partner in guiding our individual dementia journey. She compassionately delivers the reality of each new phase and the next steps we need to take for my mom. She has firmly but caringly explained when it is time for next steps in incontinence products and clothing, medication changes and adding hospice. It is tough to deliver the hard truths to family members and Catherine does it with grace and honesty. I am grateful to have found this community where I am welcomed each time I visit and where my mom is so respectfully cared for.
