        BEWARE!!! This place is wildly above the average cost of therapeutic services in Boulder County! We're talking I can get two $150 sessions with an independent LCSW/LPC and still have lunch money left over for the price of an hour with a LPCC at LifeStance. Costs are not anywhere on the website and were not ever offered to me, though they reached out immediately by phone and email to get my credit card information. There was no "welcome to the practice, we're looking forward to serving you" or any other basic niceties, much less a greeting that would make someone seeking mental health services feel welcome and safe. Huge red flags. Instead of handing my credit card information over, I asked for the rate sheet. It turns out they don't publicize the costs because they are OUTRAGEOUS. It is $315/hr for therapy, apparently regardless of education, licensure and certification. I scheduled an appointment with a LPCC. If you're looking for medication management that would be between $165-500. Cancellation fees are also staggering: $125 if you cancel within 48 hours if your practitioner has a PhD, $75 if they are a LPCC, with 2 additional tiers of fees between. It is standard practice for therapists to offer a free consultation, which is usually a 15 or 20-min call to establish if it's a good client match before moving forward. This place made me fill out tons of forms and an intake questionnaire and did not seem to care at all about the therapist-client relationship because they were happy to take my credit card and surprise me with a $300+ bill without ever checking in about whether it was the right person on the other end of the dollars.

        The therapist is fantastic but the platform has a ton of bugs. I feel like there are issues with sound almost every time we connect which can cut into our session. She is pretty good about making the time up though and working with us through the system issues.
