Through a comprehensive landscape design build process TLC took our "jungle" of a long and narrow backyard outdoor living space and turned it into a private, beautiful, and quiet escape.

We are still recovering from the nightmare that was TLC Gardens. Cheri Stringers design was based on the profit she gained by using expensive materials sold at ridiculous markups. The pedestals she convinced us to use at ground level are meant only for rooftops these now form a mountain of waste destined for a landfill. The wrong tile she ordered was fully unboxed (and many of them broken) and so could not be returned. The narrow posts she prescribed could not possibly support the heavy ipe fence she so ineptly tried to install. We paid dearly for Cheris charlatan games. TLC is mercifully gone, but the sick feeling of violation is impossible to rinse.

Solid Ground was a wonderful company to work with! They had creative and innovative ideas and followed through with good communication through weekly updates. I'd highly recommend them!

We terminated TLC Gardens at great expense or a multitude of design flaws and construction errors.  It wasn't until we replaced them with a new new designers and contractors that we truly understood how awful, and expensive, our experience was. TLC Gardens' crews showed up late or not at all. The new contractor worked full days like clockwork. TLC Gardens used weather as a constant excuse. The new contractor covered the site in tarps and blankets, so that even after heavy snow and rain, work quickly resumed. TLC Gardens used our outdoor table as a saw horse. The new contractor carefully respected all of our property. TLC Gardens strewed our garage with nails, screws, and blades. The new contractor kept everything tidy and clean. TLC Gardens left tools piled high in doorways.  TLC gaslighted, hedged and manipulated.  The new contractor has been straightforward, communicative and honest.  All of TLC Gardens' careless disregard on our job site reflected the shoddy quality of their work (the only items remaining from them are already falling apart 6 months later) -- owner Cheri Stringer and project manager Bill Patterson left us with bends, bows, and crumbling walls. The new contractor has built clean lines and sturdy elegance. The only good decision we ever made concerning TLC Gardens was asking them to leave and to never come back.
