After dropping my car off for a pre-tune inspection I was told Boost Creep wouldn't tune it due to the wiring on the car. (Boomslang Plug and Play Harness to AEM Infinity.) After being told this I requested they wire the car to meet their requirements, I was happy to pay and have it done their way. I was told he would get a quote put together to wire in the standalone and get back to me. In November after not hearing anything from them I called to get an update. I was told he had been busy working on a Subaru that was meant for some top speed record at some salt flats and had been busy. Given I was attending school I saw no reason to rush the project. As the school year continued I assumed he would at least have a quote for me by the end of the year. After graduating school I called to check the status of the car and was told "at no point ever did we discuss wiring the car in for you, and at this point I will not be doing the work." Incredibly unprofessional. I do not recommend getting any work done at this shop. (Edit because Google doesn't allow you to respond to the business owners.) I was told that a Plug and Play harness from Boomslang was not adequate enough to run my AEM Infinity. That the injectors would not be controlled by the Standalone but the factory ECU. As well as the drive-by wire throttle not being controlled either. After taking my project home because of this I took the time to familiarize myself with the Software. After roughly 15 minutes I had the car started. No problems with the Injectors, No problems with the throttle. My cruise control even still works. I ended up getting the car tuned remotely by Original Auto Performance out of California and have been driving the car for nearly a year now. "Boomslang's P&P harness is the best option for standalone installed in the 2jz-GE" according to them. If they simply would have taken the time to hook up a computer to the car they would have seen everything working perfectly. But since they saw a few wires thrown over the engine to get a fuel pressure sensor or IAT sensor working temporarily they decided to throw up their hands. My best friend had a VR-4 tuned by them and was experiencing fuel cut before he even got home. He was told a slew of issues to investigate before contacting another local reputable tuner and said to simply check the "fuel cut load" setting in AEM. An increase in .1 PSI allowance was all that was needed to prevent this. He said as well he will never return to this shop.

Had my exhaust installed here. Incredible people, great experience, master gurus of car knowledge. Jerry and Zach are the best. Come here and never look back. Get your car tuned at TheBoostCreep afterward by Harvey.

Jerry was amazing and very attentive to my car and the potential issues. I really trust this place due to the fact that I am able to hang out and watch while he works on it and even ask questions. He made sure my subie was happy before I left too by tagging along to do some test drives with me before I left. Amazing service by an amazing individual with great parts! Definitely will be back! I had these guys put an IAG Long Block in an 08 STI I bought with a blown engine. I was worried about what everything would cost, but when I reached out to jerry for an estimate everything was verry clear start to finish. Everyone at In Boost is friendly, straight foreword and professional. I can't recommend these guys highly enough. This is the only place I'll go for any future modifications. Thanks guys! Services: Exhaust, Auto engine tuning, Oil change
