If you are someone looking to support a noprofit take a look at pictures of the emaciated animals on other Google reviews. You may want to support Coral Acres Wellness Sanctuary instead. They are a reputable nonprofit providing care and support for their animals.

If you provide a service for Zuma's don't expect to be paid. Brace yourself for a one star review from the owner after being forced to pay a bill that is over 88 days aging. Do yourself a favor if you're a service provider and avoid doing business with this "nonprofit"

Zumass Rescue Ranch is an incredible place with incredible dedicated people. My sister and I came in just when many changes were going on. But the message was clear for what Jodi and Paul were doing and still more to do in the future. There are so many educational opportunities and we feel that we have some true support from Aimee and Jodi. We feel so much zen and love coming from the herd. The herd members are really amazing teachers. The staff and long time volunteers are great.

Zumas is hands down the best rescue in Colorado. Not only is this my opinion but my vets! It is always clean, the staff are lovely, the founders give their heart and souls every day for all the humans and animals who come to the property. Animals that live outside are a 365 day commitment. They are their holidays weekends all day every day and I admire organizations like zumas that commit every day for the higher good of the community, underprivileged and abused neglected or abandoned animals! Thank you zumas. Keep up the good work!

Removes truthful negative reviews with numerous photos (only added a few here) documenting horse malnourishment and mistreatment. Also made 2 Facebook posts about the review saying it was all false and created an INACCURATE, naive reason why the review was posted. The ranch does not tolerate opinions different than their own and will openly blast you on social media (for being unhappy with the horse care and trying to advocate for better care). Hoping that the malnourishment and mistreatment is a thing of the past Edit: The last 2 photos of Ezra in the trailer and on grass are from his last day at a top notch show barn before leaving for Zumas, he was not in bad shape and all of us staff were happy about him going there based on what we read online!! The photos of him at Zumas were after months of him being there. Others have seen this decline happen with other horses there too and have also received the gaslighting responses from the ranch for speaking their opinions about it as you can see in reviews on greatnonprofits. I am a proud rescue supporter and donor, but be careful and really do your research before supporting this rescue!
