My son was diagnosed with a chronic pain condition that was originally managed by Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. His only treatment plan was to give him Naproxen and that he might grow out of it. When I pushed for a better plan, we were told that nothing else could be done. This was unacceptable and i began searching for a doctor that could help him. We were so fortunate to find Dr. Bluestein. She created a treatment plan that actually treated his pain and improved his mobility. She took the time to educate our family about his condition. Prior to Dr. Bluestein, my son had trouble walking and couldn't sleep because of pain. He was missing a lot of school and he couldn't concentrate while in class. But now he is active, sleeps well and is happy! He is on the honor roll. I feel like I have y son back! Dr. Bluestein gave us what Children's Hospital of Wisconsin could not. It is unfortunate that insurance companies do not cover the comprehensive treatment that Dr. Bluestein offers.
