Littleton High School

It's always unfortunate seeing a 2 star review on a high school but the truth must be told today. The administration does not care about their students, they only care about getting them in trouble. And already this review is sounding very similar to the one of my middle school. I can't say that all teachers don't care care about their students but it is clear that the game of favorites plays a more than large role. The reason I'm even giving Littleton 2 stars is because the kids are very friendly and it's easy to become the hero of any sports team. For those of you who are competitive and want to play a sport at the next level. Do not go here. It's more about having fun and making yourself seem better than you really are.

We open enrolled our daughter here and she went into the IB program. It was a great program for her she was able as a athlete to play in every season sport and to maintain a high GPA, she graduated fifth in her class went onto an exceptional college played D1 lacrosse and is now a military officer in the Navy.  Littleton high school was a great starting point for her, she made great friends, learned a lot.The school and teachers were exceptional about allowing all her talents to flourish.

My step daughter has gone to this school for a little over two years and it is wonderful. She is being challenged and they have programs available for advanced students that are making her a better critical thinker and more prepared for college. I would recommend this high school to every student!

My child is finishing up her freshman year at Littleton and she loves her school. I love that there aren't the same social pressures you find at other schools. She has excelled academically and has participated in three sports. Very few kids from her middle school attend Littleton so she had to make new friends. I am happy to say she has made some friends who are good, NICE kids. We love Littleton High School.

Students at LHS are great, accepting and kind.  Huge difference in what I hear it is at other LPS high schools.  In the 2 years my child attended we encountered 2 teachers who seemed to care about his success.  Individualized learning is foreign at LHS.  Some teachers seem to be dialing it in - worksheets that look like I saw when I was in high school. Worked hard to get an IEP in place that was not followed.   Support staff seem fearful of teachers, rarely advocating.  Teachers not trained or choosing not to deal with out of the box students.  Old school teaching mindsets.  My son overheard his support person call him "annoying" under her breath.   He arrived at LHS classified as gifted and talented/2exceptional and fell through the cracks.  I truly hope LHS figures out that the "outliers" can be very successful if embraced.  Embraced outliers: Gates, Zuckerberg, etc.  Through the cracks outliers:  drop-outs, drug attics, suicide victims etc.
