Thought we had found someone to help my daughter with years of GERD- drove 3 1/2 hours for a procedure at Childrens hospital, paid for a hotel, had the procedure pushed back 3 times for varying excuses, sat at Childrens for over 4 hrs w my daughter hooked up to an IV, was told it was going to be another 3-4 hours and got reprimanded by his office staff when I called to ask what the - was going on and told them we left the hospital. Days later and never even called to see what happened or apologize or even offer an explanation. Extremely disappointed

Dr Stathos was like god sent to us. My daughter was misdiagnosed at Children's hospital. We went to Dr.Stathos and he diagnosed her with Small Bowel Crohn's. He also ensured he referred my daughter to an Immunologist, since he thought she might have some auto immune conditions and she did end up with couple of auto immune conditions as well. Dr.Stathos is extremely friendly, very compassionate and is very generous with his time and listens to all the symptoms in details and is never dismissive about symptoms, which was an ocean of difference between how his diagnostic approach was, compared to the torture we went through at Children's hospital. He was definitely God sent for our daughter.

We had/continue to have great experiences with Dr Stathos! He is reassuring and willing to refer out when he feels other aspects outside his scope need to be addressed (even called a different specialist during our appointment to ensure wed be a good fit/his thought process was correct) and we now see both fabulous specialists (we 100% recommend Dr Nayak for endocrine related concerns). Dr stathos was patient, has great bedside manner, treated my kiddo like his own. We are so thankful we found him!
