Abiding Hope Church

If you want a church that ingores its yourth and is always begging you for money, this is the spot for you. Honestly, the reason I can no longer stand going to church is because I got so burned out by this church. I was a lost teenager trying to find guidance, but all I found was greed. Every week, they would ask for money for Haiti or for India or some other country. Yet never once did they try to start a youth program for us teenagers. I had a member of the congregation point me to a youth group outside of this church, and it was wondering and opened my eyes to how they were failing us the youth here. It was as if we, the youth, didn't exist to them. Never once did they try to start a youth group or hire a youth pastor. The worst part of this was once a year, they got all the high schoolers together for a tour. We would have 60-70 kids there for this, and then the rest of the year, absolutely nothing. They had the people for a youth program but never the desire to build one. If you don't have kids, this is the church for you. If you do, I suggest you look elsewhere.
