Pax Christi Catholic Church

My husband and I drive from Parker, CO to be members of this parish. Pastor Andrzej is welcoming and offers a wide range of diverse ministries to encourage parishioner involvement. His homilies focus on the Gospel. I have enjoyed singing in a contemporary group at Sunday, 5 pm mass, participated in small group discussions, planted flowers in a community garden plot, attended women's retreats, and helped with other service projects. This parish is vibrant and growing. Come and see for yourself.

Two words: Fr. Andrzej If the most devout saint and the most relatable comedian had a baby, it would be this pastor. Welcoming, warm, organized, real, imperfect, persistent, and non-judgmental (but the staff and community still lovingly hold you to your higher callingumm, hello! JESUS? Heaven, anyone?) Times are tough. The world is increasingly weird. Come hang out with us. Get involved. Ask questions. Contribute. (I need to do better about practicing what I preach lol) I never thought in a million lifetimes Id ever be the one admitting that I was a fallen away Catholic but here we are. I grew up in a very conservative household. I wandered away, straying further and further from the church; assimilating my own negative human and family experiences to Catholicism. I fed into all the media and noise from friends while I was a lost little lamb. I still get lost. But my directionally challenged self is growing. You can grow too! This community has welcomed me, a somewhat liberal, divorced single mom who has loads of friends and family members from all different walks of life. Dont judge God by the church. The church is human and therefore sometimes or often flawed. Humans are sinners. God is not that. And he loves us flawed and full of the most horrific sins if we only keep trying to be close to Him. Pax Christi - Thank you for making me and my kids feel like we have a home; accepted and loved. See you Sunday! Well, most Sundays. Were getting better. That nagging human stuff creeps up and I miss many weeks still But Ill be there as many Sundays as I can! Always trying to be better.
