The Colorado Welcome Center in Lamar was really inviting! Shannon was a resource for all things southeastern Colorado, as well as the history of the town itself. As I work in a welcome center back home in western Kansas, it was nice to also understand how Colorado operates their tourism centers. The restrooms were very clean. The place was decorated nicely with its historic charm, and the train out front is a sight to behold!
