Tavern 1301

We stopped by while driving through town. Everything was so good! We really loved the roasted vegetables, Cesar salad, steak, poppers and sweet corn tamale. The kids burger was huge unfortunately my toddler wasnt into it, still at the picky stage. I turned it into an amazing leftover burger! They made me some amazing cocktails and were great. I just finished my leftovers popper and it was still so good. Highly recommend!

This was a very unexpected but delightfull find. The restaurant is part of a large hotel/ event center that is under going a major renovation. It looks like it will be terrific when complete. The restaurant is terrific right now. The atmosphere is varied-a bar and tables without tvs, a more casual bar with tvs and a nice open dining room framed by greenery. I had the filet- cooked perfecty- with the brussel mash and my husband had the dinner salad with chicken. The corn tamales were excellent! The only thing I can't recommend is the bread pudding- it was dry and a bit hard. Our server appeared to be learning the ropes but was pleasant and attentive.

Beautiful restaurant on the inside and the food was amazing from the burger to the perfectly cooked steak. Service could have been a little better but this Is a restaurant I highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.

Waiter was right on it. Food came out nice hot and delicious would recommend going again.
