    4/11/24 around 8pm, I ordered a shrimp taco meal and almost broke my tooth on a piece of burnt fish or chicken in it instead of shrimp(there are supposed to be 3 pieces of shrimp), so I had to go back and get a replacement because I wanted my shrimp tacos, plus my fries with no salt were not cooked. No one acknowledged I was there. The manager on duty was cleaning and mopping the bathroom, another staff member was taking out trash. So I asked the lady who was preparing food what was in my taco since she made it. She didn't tell me but stated she would remake it. The manager came in the kitchen did not wall his hand and started touching equipment in the fryer area where my fries and shrimp were cooked. I asked for a refund instead because that was straight nasty and now I don't want to eat at the establishment at this point. Instead of returning my money, he started agrueing because I pointed out that he didn't wash his hands. He wanted the receipt so I obtained it from my car and still he was arguing. I asked for his Manager and he said they weren't in he was the manager. I asked for his name he would not give it to me. I called for a manager this morning and no answer. I wanted to complain to the regional manager for this employee yelling at me and withholding my money for his own power and control issues. I told him I'm the customer and he continued. When did the food industry change. I will pursue this. Why should you be treated like this when you pay for food and a service. Then the other staff came and started yelling. All I wanted was my money back for the bad food. He insistsed on getting my half drank soda back as well. How petty.

    Usually I love del Taco, the affordable vegetarian options and overall quality of the food for the price makes it a go to regular for fast food. I was disappointed by my last visit to this location, it seemed like no effort went into making my meal (a cheddar quesadilla and bean and cheese burrito). The quesadilla fell apart and had almost nothing inside, while the burrito was just sad. I love del Taco but that was an upsetting surprise I hope can be corrected. Vegetarian options: Great option for vegheads, good prices too
