New West Physicians

If I could give this practice a zero-star review I would. My husband had an appointment in June 2021 and had to cancel the morning of due to a Covid exposure. We had explained the situation to the office and they indicated they would adjust the fee for the no-show. Three months later we got a bill for the $75 no show with a $50 credit. They still expect us to pay the $25 balance. After numerous calls to the office we chose not to pay the balance out of principle and in return they sent us to collections. My husband did the right thing by not exposing the entire office to Covid. Please know what type of office you are visiting seeing their practices and policies are not doing everything to protect their staff and patients.

Ive been a patient at New West for the past 4 years. This year they mishandled a billing issue that ended up being reported to the credit bureau and negatively affected my credit score. It has also become increasingly time consuming to reach anyone there by phone without having to wait for 12-13 callers ahead of me, which has frustrated my attempts to resolve issues or schedule appointments. The last straw was today, when my appointment was cancelled because I was 10 minutes late. Ive never been late for an appointment before and I find this incredibly unjust, especially considering how much time Ive spent waiting for them. Ive gotten adequate care and folks are always friendly here, but it doesnt doesnt make up for being undervalued as a customer. I will not return to this provider.

If I could leave zero stars for this Doctors Office, I would. By far the worst experiences I have had with health care. Every single experience has been bad starting with my first visit for a physical that consisted of a conversation and that was it to them failing to obtain the results of a major screening procedure my "doctor" ordered, to them not calling in referrals for months on end. Run from this place. Horrible. Awful. The worst ever.

The doctors here are awesome, unfortunately everyone else is not. Ive been taking my mother here for almost 4 yrs and in the last 4 yrs i can't even name how many "careless," mistskes have been made. From scheduling, to a general lack of any communication from their office beyond mis managing appointments and schedules for their doctors and patients. It truly shocks me that level / lack thereof, level of communication here is essentially on par with a call center located outside of the US. Even despite all of the doctos being part of the same "network," expecting/hoping they'll communicate with one another is non existent here. Again the doctors are good / proficent unfortnetly nothing else here is.

Calling to make appointments is always long, 30 to 60 min. Health portal is difficult to use and log into. My doctor is great and care is great. Been with them for 35 years.
