I needed to get a hotel room when my power was out at home and this location was close and reasonably priced. The room was spacious and clean, lots of outlets for my electronics, WiFi included, and the far end of the 3rd floor was quiet and peaceful. The room had a mini fridge and a hot water maker for coffee or tea as well as a microwave. Check out time was 11am, although I had to look on their website to find that info.
My only issues were, there's no water other than tap here and I got a single can of soda from the vending machine by the ice machine on the same floor, checked my bank account and saw it charged me $6.20. I was also double charged for my room and had to call my bank to fix that. I would recommend against the soda machine, bring bottled water and not make a reservation over the phone. If you're worried about noise (yes the walls are thin) see if there are rooms on the upper floors.

This hotel has greatly deteriorated. We have been staying here regularly for three years while visiting family in Lakewood. The room had only one coat hanger in the closet and the carpet smelled of urine. This is a pet friendly hotel and we heard dogs barking in the morning and evening. There was a man sleeping in the breakfast area one morning, and the police showed up to arrest him.
The worst problem was the LACK OF HOT WATER FOR TWO DAYS AND NIGHTS. I called the desk to report it after I took a FREEZING COLD SHOWER on Saturday night. He told me that the problem would be fixed in 2-3 hours. However, the water was still cold on Sunday morning. We left for the day on Sunday. I called the hotel around 6PM on Sunday, and the clerk told me that the hot water had been working temporarily but it wasn't working now. I asked why she couldn't call maintenance back to have them come out to fix the boiler again. She said that they wouldn't come back out on Sunday night. THERE WAS STILL NO HOT WATER ON MONDAY MORNING BEFORE I CHECKED OUT AT 11 AM. I will never stay at the Laquinta Denver SW Lakewood again!

My room was just what I needed, good value for my money.
