Lakewood Eye Center

After not being able to get eye exams and glasses that were correct, I was told from my eye surgeon after cataract removals To try Lakewood Eye Center. All of my problems were over when Nicole Wellensiek examined my eyes perfectly, and Lance, the optician, produced my glasses right on , perfectly. I am so relieved to have them to take care of my eyes!

Dr. Wellensiek is pouring herself into this practice and it shows. Her staff is exceptional. She's invested in new equipment. A highly capable woman who really cares about what she does. I've had a lot of doctors in my life, good and bad. I tell you with confidence: She's one of the special ones. Shoutout to Lance (Glasses Dude). One of the realest guys out there. So cool. Heart of Gold. To say I trust these people with my vision is a pretty bold statement. I stand by it. They genuinely care about your wellbeing. It's clearly more than a job.

The physicians here are great, as is the rest of the staff that starts your initial work up. But Lance is great! He helps you pick glasses and make sure they fit you just right. Ive been a patient since 2016 and wouldnt choose to go anywhere else.

Dr Wellensiek made my appointment comfortable and informative. I hadnt been to an optometrist in years and she walked me through the new equipment and process and had me clear about the health of my eyes. I was able to get a new pair of glasses and Lance was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and made sure my glasses were properly fit and working well for me. My daughter also had a great experience getting her first set of glasses and Lance helped her pick out a great pair.

The office is ran very well with a great staff and doctor that truly care about their patients. My most recent exam was great and the doctor made sure I got the best care I needed when I found out that I had Keratoconus. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
