Lakewood Bible Chapel

Solid leadership and biblical teaching. These guys have a good thing going on here. Leadership at this church is solid and they show a great deal of care towards people in my experience.

This church had been our home for about 4 years. We joined a few months after the church had been replanted. It was a great place at first; there was love and community and the Bible was preached. There were, and still are, lovely, godly people who attend here. However, after awhile a lack of love for people began to show from those in leadership. If you were not fully aligned with the church's beliefs you were sidelined or forced out. In the words of the lead pastor there, "Lakewood Bible Chapel isn't for everyone." The leadership became focused on being right instead of righteous. My family and I left because I did not want my kids to catch that view of Christ and his message. So thankful for this church that faithfully preaches and upholds the Word of God. Wonderful fellowship with like minded believers. I wholeheartedly recommend this church.
