I grew up going to Bear Valley Church from age 0 to 18 years old. I was indoctrinated, groomed, and brainwashed into believing their dogmatic and superstitious claims. I have religious/spiritual trauma now because of BVC. I went to church at least twice a week. I attended their Awana's program and went on four mission trips out of state (Two in other countries). I was baptized in their hot tub and I baptized other people in their hot tub. I preached to Bear Valley's youth group once and played on their worship team every week for years. I attended men's groups and so many events. I went to house church groups every week and and camp every summer. We cooked for fundraisers. I can name hundreds of people that went to this church. Half of the kids that I grew up with are no longer christian. Some of them have religious trauma and can write a similar review to this one if you want proof. I wrote all of this myself without ai and this is what I experienced. BVC commented that I used ai. You can read about that at the bottom of this review. They successfully groomed me into believing in imaginary things. I believed the magical thinking and superstition so much that I planned to be a preacher. I attended Colorado Christian University and studied Biblical Studies. On my walk of Biblical Studies, the claims of BVC crumbled after studying history, archeology, empirical evidence, and other fields of Biblical study. I wanted to hold on and believe. I grasped on for dear life and it slipped through my fingers. I was kicking and screaming as it was pulled out from under me. I realized that I had been lied to my entire life by false teachers. BVC preys on the vulnerable and gullible. I would like to kindly ask for a refund of the tithes and offerings I was pressured to give to Bear Valley Church as a minor. I originally used ai to write some parts of the above review in order to not waste any more time on BVC. However, I pushed "Edit" and updated the review so that 0% of it is ai. This is my personal testimony. Amen.

I was rushing to find a church this morning, being new to the area. I googled Christian Churches and Bear Valley was near the top of the page maybe 3 or 4 in. I didn't have much time to decide so I picked on a whim.   I couldn't have made a better choice with all the time in the world. Everything about the service was clearly meaningful to the Pastor. I felt welcomed by all and was really amazed at the lucky pick I had made, but of course it wasn't lucky at all, was it?    I recommend Bear Valley Church to anybody wanting to truly worship the Lord and who is not in it for popularity and social importance, because you won't find any of that at Bear Valley.    Thank you Bear Valley and especially Pastor Joe, You made it feel good again and I am very grateful. Looking forward to many more .

An awesome, morally uplifting church. Me and my partner went for their food bank, the third we've visited this week, and they were the only ones still operating. My godmother sent me their information, and I'm here to say post covid, they're still helping their community. They are awesome people, I'm very grateful for them.
