It was “eh” to live here most of the time, and frustrating the other part of it. I lived here 2 years, and the heat was out for a week to 2 weeks both winters I spent here. The air conditioning advertised is a window unit not meant to cool the size of the space so it’ll be 100 degrees in the summer pretty much day and night, even with windows open.. so be prepared to buy other air conditioning. The property is being *Rapidly* renovated so you’ll notice how contractors didn’t do the best of jobs in the renovated units; doors don’t line up, counters aren’t level, you can see the lines of drywall, fixtures fall out of the wall due to not being done correctly, etc. There’s always issues with the water. It takes 10 minutes to cool down if it’s hot outside for some reason, so when you initially turn it on, it’s boiling hot. The parking isn’t really an issue, however they WILL tow your vehicle if it doesn’t have updated registration..I was extremely disappointed and not a fan of the laundry room being a “pay to use.” Especially when you’re doling our 1400 a month for rent. Other than that, the proximity to the lake is great, you’re 15 minutes from downtown, grocery stores are close, it’s a very accessible place to get around the metro area. It’s a good place to live if you’re looking for “basic,” as there really aren’t any amenities at all. There’s better options out there for the price point.

You might as well move to five points or live off colfax. You'll get the same experience for less money. Ant problems upon my move in, the other building had a massive bed bug problem, they even told me upon move in to notify them if I see mice. Even better when I actually saw one the size of a softball. Everything is falling apart in the apartments, (and I mean EVERYTHING). The drawers have no tracks on them, screws falling out of the dishwashers and vents. They shut off the water at random without notifying residents. And they consider not having water for 12 hours each on 2 separate days and not having hot water for an aditional 4 days to be "just an inconvenience" They hire contractors that have done the WORST work I've EVER seen in my life and leave shattered glass, trash, and rocks among other things strewn throughout the property and parking lot. Plus they'll bleed all over the inside of your window sill and not clean it. No additional charge for that sweet deal. The water lines constantly bust, the washers barely work, their bathrooms have black mold problems to the point that they have it written in the lease, and they take their sweet time fixing literal emergencies. It took them an entire month to carpet and seal the side of the building when my unit flooded through the electrical socket, (and the braker didn't trip). Plus they broke the window doing that and it took an additional week to fix the window. I could go on for literal days. And the new owners are a bunch of pretentious doorknobs running out of Cali that don't understand legal matters and quite clearly have NO idea what they're doing. They actually lost my rent money and tried to blame me months after the fact. Plus they're cheap and lazy. My old place in aurora where the cops rolled through on a regular basis, we had cockroaches, and the neighbor's roof was collapsing was NICER than this apartment.
