It was practically perfect in every way. Chrckin was easy and quick. The nurse greeted me cordially and prepared me for my visit with Dr Citrin in an easy, professional way. Dr Citrin was thorough and professional when he interviewed and examined me.

Dr. Citrin was thorough, knowledgeable and addressed my medical questions skillfully. I especially appreciated that he devoted the necessary time to the appointment so that I left feeling confident about our medical game plan.

Dr. Citrin has taken the time to get to know me and my behaviors, and spends quality time talking with me about action plans to help me be more healthy!

Went in for an extremely swollen lymph node because obviously something was wrong (turns out it was a peritonsillar abscess). I could hardly swallow and I was in extreme pain. Dr. Citrin was more focused on stress seizures I had 12 years ago, asking if I had any episodes since, if I was on medication for epilepsy (I'm not epileptic they were stressed related) completely ignoring the issue as to why I was in the office in the first place. After telling me to just gargle salt water and drink tea with lemon and honey, I went to the Kaiser urgent care the next day. There they told me if I couldn't swallow and the pain got worse I should go to the ER. Something a member of my primary care's team should've focused on. On Tuesday 7/5/2022 I was admitted to SkyRidge hospital for 2 and a half days where I was pumped full of antibiotics to get the inflammation down. On the second day I was put under general anesthesia and had surgery to drain the abscess that Citrin absolutely failed to diagnose. If Citrin had even prescribed basic antibiotics to help with my swollen lymph node (it was the size of a dollar coin) I likely would not have had to have surgery and spend 2 1/2 days in the ER. I have lost all trust and faith in Kaiser's ability to care for their patients.
