    In short, Poor communication, misinformation, long lead times and lack of transparency. Took three months to repair for minor hail damage. I picked DHR because of the good reviews. I was mistaken. Long story: They had my car for a week and didnt start work because they were missing an electronic signature from me that they werent willing to take unless I was in person. Once I got back in town on Sep 27 and I signed their e-docs and made my insurance claim, they didnt contact my insurance for an entire week. I coordinated with my insurance to meet the DHR rep when the rep finally responded. Once the quote was done, the rep did not contact me to share the details of the repairs needed/planned. From then, I had to constantly contact the DHR rep for updates. When the rep went on a one week vacation, I was left in the dark. When she got back from vacation she informed me that they wont have the parts they need for the repair for another month. My car sat in their lot for over a month while I was left with no transportation. As of Nov 17 my car was just waiting on QC. On Nov 20 it was ready for pickup. And then from Dec 1 through Dec 6 they were working on roof molding and paint. The contradicting information I got amongst the reps and their manager after holding my car for almost 3 months was extremely infuriating. And when I voiced my frustration, instead of owning up to the misinformation they kept repeating that it was a misunderstanding. I was still getting late updates on my car. For a week every time I contacted them they were finishing the paint on the roof.

Hi Yasaman! Thank you for your review and feedback! We value our customer's experience and apologize that the repair did not go how you expected. We also did attempt reaching out to you regarding the feedback, we are sorry we didn't get a chance to discuss this in more detail with you. Below I've gone over some of your points in the hopes of providing a little clarity.The document we needed a signature on was our Work Repair Authorization and Direction to Pay. We do require this signature for legal purposes, as it gives us permission to work on your vehicle once insurance approves the claim. Additionally, a claim number wasn't provided upon drop off, but we were able to obtain that from you very quickly, thank you for that!We apologize for the misunderstanding that we didn't work on the vehicle the first week, it was in the write up process, and my records do show it was written up, photographed, and documented on day 3.Regarding the timeline for repair, the vehicle was almost double the cost of average repair for the Denver metroplex, so I would not consider this a light hail vehicle. We show that it took three weeks for insurance to approve, we then put the vehicle in queue for repair in order of when insurance approved. The vehicle then went into repair, and we wrapped up all our paintless dent repair by 11/1. Unfortunately we were given an incorrect timeline when we ordered parts, so we waited on delivering the vehicle back to you thinking parts would be in within a timely manner. The parts were delayed in Germany, then the status was changed to international backorder. Unfortunately we don't control delivery time of parts, and the misinformation we were provided did lead to a delay in your vehicle being returned to you. As soon as the status changed to backordered on 11/20 we offered to get you back into the vehicle for the time being while we waited on parts. We did want to prevent your lack of transportation as much as possible, as we understand it can be very difficult to be without your vehicle. The damaged parts were minor trim pieces and cosmetically damaged, but structurally sound. If the vehicle had been returned at this point, it would’ve been in the shop for 8 weeks.You declined the opportunity to pick up the vehicle prior to these delayed parts coming in which further lengthened the repair time by almost a month. We put a rush on the rest of the process for you and you had your vehicle back within a day of the final part coming in.Our records also indicate that we spoke with you at least once a week, updating you on repairs each time. When your Hail Advisor was going to be out to see her family for Thanksgiving, she made sure to come into work that Monday to update all of her customers. I see that she did send you a text the week of the holiday and the week following. We also don't show any missed calls or text messages from that week. Based on our records, we did provide weekly updates as promised.We apologize about any lack of clarity in our communication, it does sound like we didn't properly explain which parts we were waiting on and did not make it clear that it was only the roof molding, not the roof panel, that was in for paint during the final week. We put a high value on the customer's experience and apologize that your experience was not up to the expectation.
