Update to owner response: Sabrina makes it sound like I threatened this review because she couldnt fit our repair in. I told her I would be providing a review since they wouldnt fix the work first. The picture speaks for itself. The seller did not disclose any of the info provided to us as she had a legal obligation to so I am hesitant to trust that. Regardless of our issue, Sabrina is rude and does not return calls. Both summers it was near impossible to contact them. And the other company we contacted maintains the work was bad. Do not hire them. They installed the patio in our backyard in 2016, about a year before we moved into our house. When we bought it there was some damage by the stairs which were falling in. The seller contacted them and had them fix it. I believe it was still right at the end of their warranty and was covered. A year later the whole section right near the stairs started falling in and sections around the other areas are cracking. We have tried contacting Design By Stonescape for a repair. They wouldnt come out to see it and gave us an estimate via text picture after calling for weeks. We had another company come out to give us an estimate as well and they said the workmanship and installation is completely to blame (not just normal settling for new contstruction) and asked for the company name because they couldnt believe anyone specializing in paver patios would be so bad. We again tried to contact Design by Stonescapes to discuss this. Maybe theyve changed workers or addressed issues since 2016. We wanted to give them a chance to fix this shoddy work but they once again would not return calls. When they finally did, Sabrina was extremely rude and said they are booked with commercial work and could not fit us in (a days work). They had no interest in fixing their shoddy work. We should have known by their lack of response (it took many calls to reach them) that they were an untrustworthy and unprofessional business. It seems theyve taken on more commercial work since 2016, so I would caution companies to fully understand their warranties before hiring them.

Design by Stonescapes EXCEEDED our expectations,...their expertise made our vision become a reality. Being in the restaurant industry we have worked with many contractors over the years from simple over night projects to complete new building construction. Matt and his team were superior from the conceptual design to completion of the project. His crew was on time, professional and clean throughout the entire process. Our business is open 7 days a week and his team worked around OUR busy hours, cutting stone can be very dusty and loud, yet his team shut down during lunch hour rushes so our guests would not be disturbed. The redesign eliminated a huge issue that we have had for years with drainage of water in the entire area, water would always settle after a rain or snow melt, causing puddles to form throughout the patio and main entrance, worse yet, was freezing temperatures after melting of snow would turn to ice, not good when you have hundreds of guests dining in everyday. Design by Stonescapes perfectly resolved that major issue. We are thrilled with our new outdoor patio and walkway that has redefined our front entrance...most importantly our guests LOVE the new look!!!!
